Stradun is a beautiful and stunning street in the heart of the city, also known as Dubrovnik Placa by locals. This place is a hotspot for tourists and locals to come together and watch the world revolve in a silent tune during both day and night. This amazing spot is popular as one of the most spectacular pedestrian thoroughfares. It is also considered one of the most lively places to visit in Dubrovnik for shopping, a quick bite, or just relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.

The entire area is roughly 300 meters and is covered in white limestone paving which is an important feature of the attraction. This street was first built in the 15th century, however, it wasn’t until the 17th century that many of the popular places in the area started coming up. Stradun also features residential buildings that are designed in a unique way to keep the business flourishing without bothering the residents.
