The Yamunotri Trek tour will begin with your arrivals in Dehradun, from where you would travel to the starting point of the trek Jankichatti. Along the way, robust sceneries and lekker weather would put you at ease and give you a taste of the regional landscape. The next day would conclude the actual trek of 12 kilometres in total, before the trip coming to an end on day three.
The best time for you to experience this feat would be during the summer months of May and June, or the fall/winter season between September till November, where you will be welcomed to stark opposite prospects of vivid wilderness and serene snow.

Know Before You Go for Yamunotri Trek
- It is advised to carry a few warm layers of clothing and more with you for the Yamunotri Trekking Trip, depending on the season and weather you are planning to go.
- Although the trek is easy and comfortable, if you have any underlying health concerns or are pregnant, it is best to consult your doctor before joining the trip.
- Carry a personal first-aid kit with all the essential medication, ointment, band-aids and prescription medicines on the trek.
- For the trek, carry a light backpack that can fit in all the necessary items. And wear a comfortable, yet sturdy pair of shoes for the Yamunotri Trek.
- Do not litter the campsites or anywhere along the Yamunotri Trek.
