How to reach:

By Air: Vishakhapatnam airport is well networked with many major cities of India. The airport is almost 16 km from the core are of the city. Pre-paid taxi is easily available for the tourists to reach here.

By Road: Visakhapatnam is connected by NH-5, a major highway and part of the Golden Quadrilateral network of Indian highways. State-owned APSRTC buses reach various places. The state government offers interstate bus services to states like and Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

By Train: Visakhapatnam railway station is located on the Chennai Central-Howrah Station route, connecting it to many Indian towns and cities.

Day 1
Arrival in Vishakhapatnam | Welcome to the Jewel on the East Coast
Visakhapatnam
  • Upon arrival at Vizag you will be received by our representative and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel.
  • As you arrive complete the check in formalities and relax for a while.
  • After freshening up proceed for a half day city tour of Vizag.
  • We will visit R. K. Beach spend some relaxed time, enjoy strolls across the beach, sunbath and more and go fishing harbor, where you can buy dried fishes from here If you want you can take a motor boat ride from here, which will take to the sea and will return back.
  • Then visit the INS Kurusura Submarine Museum, the museum is inside an actual submarine and it is India's 5th submarine ,the museum has artefacts, pictures and articles that share stories of strength, sacrifice and patriotism of the warriors. They give insights on how difficult surviving can be with limited space and resources hundreds of feet underwater.
  • Later towards to Thotlakonda, which is a Buddhist Complex is situated on a hill and then Rushikonda is widely known for its golden sands and tidy waves of Bay of Bengal, the beach is the perfect place to enjoy water sports like swimming, water skiing and wind surfing.
  • Proceed to Kailashgiri, one of the famous destination where you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty around.
  • Head towards Kali Temple it is a beautiful temple on beach road. It looks like a small replica of Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Kolkata.
  • Return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Vishakhapatnam.
Day 2
Araku Sightseeing | Enjoy the Serenity of Nature
Araku Valley
  • Wake up in the morning and enjoy your leisurely breakfast the morning is spent at your leisure.
  • After Lunch, you can visit Dolphin hill it is a paradise for nature lovers and is no less than a heaven for instagrammers, owing to its scenic beauty, enjoy at surreal setting and tranquil environment with your loved ones.
  • Then towards to Yarada Beach is one of the popular beaches of Visakhapatnam the lush greenery and scenic beauty let tourists admire nature as they overlook the breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunsets, soft golden sands when combined with crystal clear waters and deep blue colour of the sea, make the beach appear no less than a paradise.
  • In evening you may go shopping and return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 3
Araku Valley | Get amazed with the Bora caves
Araku Valley
  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy your delicious breakfast checkout proceed to railway station for your journey to Borra caves covering around 40 tunnels.
  • The Borra Caves are situated in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley in Visakhapatnam district, the combination of sunlight and dark conjures amazing dancing shaped in the depths of the Borra Caves, which is a sight in itself.
  • Proceed to Galikonda viewpoint offeres bird’s view of the lush green valleys, rivers and streams, railway tracks, hillocks, and buildings

Day 4
Departure | Time to say Goodbye!
Visakhapatnam
  • Wake up in the surrounding by the green valley around you and after breakfast checkout of the hotel and proceed to Vizag by road.
  • En-route Tyda which  is a small tribal village nestling in the wooded hills of the Eastern Ghats between Vizag and Araku Valley and also known as Jungle Bells.
  • As we move ahead visit Tatipudi it is a beautiful location with lush green mountains on all the sides and even boating facility is available and several migrant birds make this reservoir their home.
  • Visit Simhachalam temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha as per the temple's legend, Vishnu manifested in this form (lion's head and human body) after saving his devotee Prahlada from a murder attempt by the latter's father Hiranyakashipu.
  • Return back to Vizag and if time permits visit Kambalakonda it is covered with lush green foliage covering the terrain, the sanctuary is a great place for trekking and hiking while also making it sustainable for wildlife at the same time.
  • Drop back at railway station/bus stand for your return journey.

  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.

  • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
  • GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • If in case any traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
