Overview
Indore is one of the most beautiful cities of Madhya Pradesh, be it aesthetically, culturally or naturally. Gifted with a number of great features in terms of forests, rivers and hills, Indore has some really great gems of places to visit. And one such gem is the Jogi Bhadak Waterfall.
One of Indore's favorite place to visit for picnics and day-outs, the Jogi Bhadak Waterfall is located on the Indore-Mumbai Highway and falls from a height of 400 ft, making for a great sight to look at. The base of the falls has many streams that together form a large pool amidst the beautiful green valley. This picturesque fall is at its best when the monsoons arrive in Madhya Pradesh, but is also equally beautiful throughout the year.
The hour long trekking from the starting point to the waterfall will sure make you fall in love with the place, as you follow the trail through the dense jungle to finally arrive at the destination. The sight of the waterfall and the roar with which it falls will be welcoming, while the splashes of water on your faces will sure entice you into having a splash in the pool.
How to Reach:
The falls are located at a distance of about 40 kms from Indore on the Indore-Mumbai Highway. You can easily take a road transport to reach the starting point of the trek, which will be Dhal Gram. From here, you will have to trek for about an hour on a 4 km long trek to reach the waterfall. This package includes transport from and to Indore.
