On the Pulau Tiga Day Trip, you can experience the unspoilt views of the Palau Tiga which is known as the location for the TV show Survivor
On this trip, you will get to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Pulau Tiga, trek in the lush green jungles, bathe in the shallow craters of volcanic mud and visit Sands Pit island
This is a small and intimate group tour with group sizes varying from 2-9 people
The tour includes hotel pickups and drop-offs from the city of Kota Kinabalu
The guide/driver provided in the tour is knowledgeable and understands and speaks English for efficient communication
This Pulau Tiga Island trip also includes lunch and the sample menu includes chicken, soup, seasonal vegetables, fruits, prawns, fish, eggs and rice

About Survivor Island:
Survivor Island or Pulau Tiga Sabah or Tiga Island is one of a group of small, uninhabited islands that are situated in Kaminis Bay off the western coast of Sabah in Malaysia. These islands are relatively new and were a result of a volcanic eruption near Borneo in the year 1897.
This fact adds to the allure of the island as there are active mud volcanic cavities at the highest part of the island. You can reach these mud volcanoes by trekking through the rugged jungles of the area.
These islands are a part of the Tiga Island National Park and are well-preserved, making them a nature-lovers’ paradise. When at the island, you can swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters which offer abundant opportunities of spotting colourful coral in the sea bed.
The colourful under-sea creature like many types of fish also makes these waters their home, allowing you to view several types of fish when swimming in these waters. You can also relax in the volcanic mud and enjoy its therapeutic effects on your mind and body. The coastline also offers plenty of sunrise and sunset views.

Airport and surrounding area: 7:15am
Kota Kinabalu City South/Center/North: 7:00am.
Itinerary:
7:00am hotel pick up, depart for Jesselton jetty
7:30am arrive at jetty and proceed to Survivor Island
9:00am prepare for snorkeling
10:00am jungle trekking to Mud Volcano for mud bathing, free and easy
11:30am enjoy lunch at Pulau Tiga
12:30pm visit to Sands pit Island
3:00pm leaving from Pulau Tiga
4:30pm hotel drop off

No, the charge for the guide/driver is included in the Pulau Tiga day trip. Only if you opt for a pickup or drop off from areas in the Kota Kinabalu outskirts or in Borneo 1 will incur extra charges that are to be paid directly to the guide at the time of boarding.
You can redeem your e-voucher by showing your e-ticket along with your MyKad (for Malaysian citizens) or a valid ID (for foreigners and children) at the time of boarding your means of transfer.
The guide provided in the tour speaks and understands English for better communication.
The reporting time for the Survivor Island Sabah trip varies from one point of pickup to the next. The different time slots are as follows:
6:00 am for the outskirts of Kota Kinabalu City
6:30 am for 1 Borneo
7:00 am for Kota Kinabalu City South/Center/North
7:15 am for the airport and surrounding areas.
