Karjat, a mini hill station at around 60 km from Mumbai and 100 km from Pune is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sondai, located in Karjat denotes one of its most beautiful assets which is blessed with amazing scenic beauty.  The location is famous for getting visitors spellbound with adventurous trekking experience, especially during monsoons. On reaching the top, you get a mesmerizing view of the Matheran Mountain range which comprises of green landscapes and foggy pinnacle.

The Sondai Fort Trek offers you to experience an adventurous trekking activity during monsoon. The trek lets you witness the view of Gavari hill and the beauty of Matheran Mountain range from the top which is splendid to come across. The trek is supported with the assistance of professional and experienced guides. The experience also includes the convenience of a pick and drop facility from Karjat Railway Station and back combined with meals to keep you energised during the trek.

Your journey starts at 5:30 AM from Pune(Shivaji Nagar) where you meet the team with your fellow trekkers. You head for the base village via Karjat Railway Station with the help of a shared transportation. Before the start of the trek, a short introductory session which is followed by breakfast to keep you prepared and energised for the activity. You start your trek by 10:00 AM. After a  two hour ascend you reach to the top.

At the top, you get some time to explore which is followed by lunch to rejuvenate you for the rest of the journey. Post descend which is followed by evening tea and snacks, you begin your travel back to Pune. At around 9:30 PM you are back in Pune where you mark the end of your journey with beautiful memories.

Child Policy: Children below 5 years are not suitable for this trek and activities due to safety concerns. Children above 5 years can join the trek at the same cost

How to Reach: You need to reach the pick-up point which is Shivaji Nagar in Pune. Once you reach there your shared transportation will take you to the location
