Day 1
Day 1: Arrival at Gangtok | Enter the land of monasteries and a major Buddhist pilgrimage center
  • Upon your arrival at the Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station from Pune, you will be greeted by our representatives for your tour ahead to Gangtok.
  • Embark on a 4-5 hours journey through the scenic landscape, valleys and picturesque city to reach Gangtok, the land of Monasteries.
  • As you’ll be traveling along the famous Teesta river, you can take a halt to click some amazing pictures of the riverfront and immerse in the tranquil beauty of the surroundings.
  • After capturing some of the best shots along the route, you can again start your journey towards the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2

  • Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel and head out to explore the iconic landmarks of Gangtok.
  • Begin your excursion with the renowned sight of Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake held in high reverence by the natives of Sikkim. You can admire the lake located 3,753 m (12,313 ft) above the ground, and experience the color changing phenomenon with each season. 
  • After clicking some amazing pictures and spending some quality time at the lake, head back with your expert drivers to the next sight through the scenic landscape.
  • Reach Baba Mandir, and indulge in the spiritual experience while enjoying the surroundings. The Mandir is built in honor of the courageous Indian soldier who died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. 
  • Next, if you wish you can travel to the famous Nathula Pass after taking the necessary permits. Drive through one of the three important trading border routes between India and China, and immerse in the historical significance of the site. 
  • After a full day tour, return back to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.
