Rajasthan has always been famous for its forts, palaces, cultural heritage and amazing cuisines the world over. This extraordinary state is a treasure house and one such treasure is the Shekhawati region. Located right in the heart of the amazing Thar Desert, this region is surrounded by golden sand dunes. Shekhawati is the land of the Shekhawat Rajputs and they have ruled this region for over 500 years.

The Shekhawati tour takes you to some of the best places in the Shekhawati region. The tour takes you first to Jhujhunu to explore its attractions which includes the Khetri Palace.
The next stop is Nawalgarh where you will get to see some of the most amazing Shekhawati paintings and other ancient works of art. After the tour, you will be spending one more night in Jhunjhunu.
The next part of your Shekhawati tour will be taking you to Mandawa which is a small town famous for its outdoor paintings. The town of Mandawa is also famous as the “Outdoor art gallery of Rajasthan”. Explore the bylanes of this wonderful town as you go from one painting to another.
The last stop on this tour is Fatehpur which is famous for its beautiful Havelis and frescos. You even get to see a little example of French architecture at the Nadine Le Prince Haveli. Return to Mandawa for the night. The next morning you will be taken back to the Jaipur Airport and your tour comes to an end.

Arrive at the Jaipur Airport on your own where our representative will be waiting for you.
From the airport, you will be taken to Jhunjhunu by car.
On reaching the hotel in Jhunjhunu, complete your check-in formalities and retire to your room to freshen up.
After lunch at the hotel, head out to explore the attractions of Jhunjhunu like Rani sati Temple.
First stop is the Khetri Palace which is famous for its architecture. It is made entirely of marble and has the strength of a fort and elegance of a palace.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

The Khemi Sati Temple

Badalgarh Fort

Built by Nawab Fazi Khan, this fort dates back to the seventeenth century when royals used to rest in its cozy rooms. Mertani Baori

Often considered as Shekhawati’s most beautiful and elegant step well, the Mertani Baori dates back to several hundred years. Originally used for bathing and washing purposes, this place was specifically reserved for the ladies.

The Dundlod Fort

Letting you admire the glamour of historical architecture, the Dundlod Fort is loaded with many beautiful carvings and frescoes. Once a retreat of old kings, this fort has seen many fears and is still standing without any damage.

Rani Sati Temple

Dating back to around 400 years, the Rani Sati Temple is a very famous hindu pilgrimage and attracts flocks of crowds everyday. The sounds of hymns being played here can be heard from far away and in the morning, many locals visit here to offer prayers.

Khetri Mahal

Famous in the name of wind palace, the Khetri Mahal finds its name in the list of some of the most famous places to visit in Jhunjhunu. Famous in the name of Wind Palace, this fort has its roots seeped back into the 1700s when its foundation was laid.

Modi and Tibrewal Haveli

Located in the main market of Jhunjhunu, the Modi and Tibrewal Haveli are the two well preserved havelis exhibiting ancient architecture dating back to several hundred years.
