Book this stay for experiencing a Himachali village lifestyle in the closest and in a unique way possible. For a city dweller staying in a mud house would be probably once in a lifetime experience. After all, most avid travelers crave for one such night wherein they can stay in mud houses and closely witness village life.

There are a total of 12 houses - you can choose to stay in any. It's a completely different feeling altogether staying in the 200 year old houses whose interiors are uniquely designed and shaped into a way where guests can be comfortable. Located at around 2100 meter above mean sea level, this village is a vantage point for viewing the town of Dalhousie and the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. One would also enjoy the 2 km hike till the village among the deodar trees.

The local villagers have an amazing sense of hospitality and will surprise you with their warmth during the stay. You will have access to essentials including bed linen and toiletries. Morning breakfast would be served which is a part of the package. Meals are prepared in traditional chullahs using firewood. Clay utensils are used for serving and you have food sitting on the floor along with the other members of the family. This itself is a wonderful experience.

Do take out some time to roam around in the village and explore how the locals enjoy their minimalist way of living. This experience can be booked and is suitable for couples, families as well as small to medium sized groups.

How to Reach?
The location is around 20 km away from Dalhousie. Guests would have to trek the last 2 km in order to reach the property. Exact details will be shared after the booking.
