About the Activity:

  • This adventure activity of rappelling from 300 feet above, from the top of the monolithic rock at Bhongir Fort near Hyderabad.
  • The fort is located in Shanthi Nagar, Nalgonda in Telangana; the rock structure offers plenty of adventure activities like rock climbing as well.
  • The egg shaped rock will test your agility and strength while you descend from such a height with the aid of tight ropes and other equipment.
  • UIAA or CE certified instructors will help you through out and they will make sure that you can feel the adrenaline rush is increasing.

    We started early morning around 6. It was awesome drive on ORR (Outer Ring Road) up to Ghatkesar (~ 80 kms) and then yummy breakfast before conquering the rappelling FEAR and the technique .. The trek up to the fort was 600ft and the climb down was 300ft. It was an exhilarating experience in Hyderabad. Rappelling is not that difficult provided you get the technique right. This was my first time rappelling, and i must say I enjoyed it thoroughly.
