Amazing experience with Thrillophilia! Everything was well-planned. Very energetic & supportive trek leader Mr. Monu Rana. We 5 cousins planned this trek - our first of the kind! It wasn't an easy one as such, has an average difficulty level. Would recommend others to hit gym for 10-15 days before planning this trip. We traveled by Bus to Dehradun, booked via Uttarakhand Transport Corporation [UTC online]. 29th Aug 2018 - Took 11:59 PM Bus from Kashmiri Gate, Delhi to Dehradun 30th Aug 2018 - Reached Dehradun Bus Stop at 7:00 AM - Then took Auto to meet our Trek Group at Dehradun Railway station, approx. 20-25 min - Met our Trek leader Mr. Monu Rana and waited for the group members - Started journey for Pantwari village in a Tempo Traveller around 7:45 AM - At 10:00 AM, took a halt for 30 min for Breakfast [Maggie & Pakoda] at Vikasnagar, Dehradun - Enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the way and reached Pantwari Village around 12:00 PM. - A Room & washroom was available there to do the needful. We put our heavy luggage on Mule. - Packed Lunch was provided – 2 Parathas, Aloo-Matar Sabji, Frooti, Chocolate, Boiled Egg, which we ate later during the trek at the Lunch Point. - We started our trek of 4-5 KM at around 1:00 PM and reached our base camp around 4:45 PM. - We were served Hot Tea and Aloo Pakodas with Chaat Masala near our tent area, and we just sat there until the mesmerizing sunset around 6:00 PM. Tents were clean and well-managed. - At 7:00 PM, the campfire was organized. We were served Hot Tomato Soup and Popcorns. We played music, did star-gazing and a lot of chit-chats. Trek leader gave us instructions for the next day early morning trek. - At 8:00 PM, had a good Dinner, especially with fruit custard. - Since we were all tired, we slept at around 9:30 PM in our sleeping bags. 1st Oct 2018 - At sharp 4:00 PM, the team gave us a wake call. We were ready by 4:45 AM. - Breakfast was ready – Tea, Bread toast, Jam, Butter, Poha - Also, a food packet was given to us for eating during the long 4KM trek, which we ate at Nag Tibba Temple halt. - Reached the Top at 9:30 AM, Stayed there for an hour, enjoyed the view of beautiful Himalayan range, the serenity of the place, best escape from city hustle and bustle. - Around 1:00 PM, we were back to base camp. - Served lunch [Rajma-Chawal, Sewaiyan in dessert, also lemon glucose] - We packed our bags and started trekking down at 3:00 PM and reached Pantwari at 5:30 PM - Then we started our journey in Tempo Traveller for Dehradun. Around 8:30 PM we reached Dehradun Railway station. - Took auto for Dehradun Bus Stand, our bus was at 10:00 PM. Next day morning we reached Kashmiri Gate, Delhi at 5:00 AM.

Nag tibba trek is such a breather amidst this chaotic routine life that we live. it's a perfect set up having amazing people who host you and make you comfortable throughout the trek. We started from Delhi and all the aspects regarding travel booking, cabs and pick up is managed by the Thrillophilia team in an impressive manner. They are helpful and most importantly available the whole time. The trek begins with a moderate walk and climb till the base camp on the first day you reach. You get packed lunch from the team. And this grand welcomed by an amazing view of sunset from such pristine heights.Everyone is allotted a quechua tent either on single basis or twin sharing. The night sets up with a warm bonfire with all the people around and hot served dinner. The next day trek begins early morning so take adequate sleep. Anyone who can walk every day can do this trek. It's a good way to start and know who trek gets done. The climb is moderate and is accompanied by a guide who in my case was an amazing person. He told so many stories, his own life narratives and history behind the whole place. The summit ends up with a breath taking to view from where you can see the Sahaydaris and Himalayas out far. It's just an amazing experience altogether. Things to remember. Carry less things as you yourself carry it. It's one night and two days so pack light.Carry small packs of toiletries and cosmetics. Do carry water bottle. Torch.During winters, carry gloves, scarves and good thermals.Preferably wear hiking trousers and shoes (you can easily get one from decathlon store or app) , makes it comfortable hike. Carry water. PLEASE DON'T THROW PLASTICS AT THE CAMP OR DURING THE TREK.

It's been a great journey for all of us and also this was our first ever trek and we all give a big thanks to Thrillophilia who provide us great service like their food, transport service, camping facility and their treck guide and the all facilities from their side is up to the mark ..and we really enjoyed there ....we all had a great memory. One suggestion for those who planned for nag tibba trek is "not an easy trek specially from nag tibba camp to nag tibba summit it's difficult ...it's really difficult ...

After all the biking trips in the Himalayas I wanted to try something different when this idea of trekking popped in my mind. Since this was my first trek, I was searching for something of easy-moderate difficulty when I came across this Nag Tibba Trek. After going through the details and reading the reviews and blogs of previous treckers I readily booked Nag tibba trek organised by Thrillophilia for 2/3 March 2019. And now i can say it was the best decision I made. Our trek leader Bachan Rana and his team were very helpful, concerned and kept motivating and inspiring us. The food served was delicious. You can't expect more in such harsh terrain. It was beyond expectations. They also gave proper guidance regarding waste and garbage management and the need to protect the environment.Though for beginners like me it was never from any angle an easy trek, but the beauty and serenity of nature and the enthusiasm to trek in snow and reach the summit kept me going. After being picked up from Dehradun, we were taken to Pantwari village from where we started the trek. Though its quite steep in the beginning, soon we got acclimatised. We were served lunch in between and after 5-6 hours of trek, we reached our base camp. There we were served with Tea, snacks, soup and dinner later that night. All the hard work paid off as soon we began our trek in the early morning of the 2nd day as the path was covered with white, glistening snow. As we kept moving the snow cover kept getting thicker. It was such a delightful experience. We reached the summit by 11 am. To our surprise, our trek leader carried sandwiches for us which was served to us at the summit. Hats Off for that. After spending some quality time at the summit, we started descending back to base camp, where we had our lunch. After it, we descended further to Pantwari from where we were transported back to Dehradun bringing an end to the adventurous trek and many memories for lifetime.

This whole trek is of 11 km which can be broadly divided into 3 stages (4+4+3)km. First stage (4km) - When you reach pantawari village, a walk of 4km will be there to Nag tibba base camp. It is a tottaly rocky terrain with a quite steep slope you won't find any plain path. This walk is difficult as it is rocky terrain, steep and sudden change in altitude results in short breath. On this way there are some maggie points and natural springs. After reaching to base camp a much beautiful scenic view can be seen. Total time to reach here is 2.5 to 3 hours. Stage 2 (4km) - In the next morning you will be taken to Nag temple. This route is quite easy as your body till now has been acclimatized with the surrounding, there is no rocky terrain and the way is also not too steep. This can be done in 2 hours. You wont find any maggie point or springs on this route. The only water source available is at the temple. If you are unlucky that too will be frozen. Stage 3 (3km) - From nag temple to the Summit, the shortest and the toughest. When I went there, it's literally 5-6 feet of snow, out of 40 persons who had been come to visit nag tibba they just able to went till the temple. Only we four guys and our guide (Rawat Ji) went up till the summit. Most challenging part was to walk on the fresh snow with this much of depth. My friend was an army officer, so he and our guide both started to mark trail on the snow and we just followed there footsteps. Its was a 60 degree steep slope. But once you reach to the summit its really an amazing moment and view. Fresh snowfall made this trek difficult for us otherwise it is easy we have done this trek without any special equipment and we really did this in our sport shoes. But a request if your guide says that he cant take you to the summit as there is lots of snow kindly agree to him. With 5-6 feet of snow it not even difficult but dangerous too.

We did the trek on Aug 16, 2019, during the monsoon season and it was a wonderful experience. I wouldn't call this trek easy - especially for beginners or people who rarely work-out and aren't physically active. Moderate difficulty is a better-suited term for beginners and I highly recommend getting in shape and doing cardio and leg exercises around a month before your trek begins. We were only 6 people in the entire group which made the entire trek even more enjoyable. Food was good and had a homely feel to it. P.S. If you don't want to spend money on buying trekking shoes, you can also rent them at Pantwari village, the starting point of the trek.

I loved this trek – it was a fun challenge which we were more than rewarded for with stunning views of beautiful mountains, Jungle Trail, Both guides were fantastic for the following reasons. First, there was a high degree of professionalism. They knew the route well, Everything ran perfectly smoothly and there were no organizational issues. Overall, I loved my experience trekking with thrillophilia Team Group.

This was my First Winter trek (to Snow) though i have been to 4 treks in south India earlier, Initially i was confused on what to wear, but thanks to decathlon. ( Thermal Full set, One quick dry pant , one quick dry tshirt, one fleece , one Jacket, woolen socks , gloves , and a woolen cap , Proper shoe) was sufficient . About the trip: We booked from delhi to delhi , transport was taken care , the co-ordinators (rishab and sagar) helped by responding quickly for any questions we had. Day 1: Start from delhi kashmere gate and reach dehradun by morning. (you would be having only public toilet in the bus stand (not so great) but you have no other options. Day 2: Transported from dehradun to pantwari village . ( I was told that shoe and Jacket can be rented) - but they were not available for rent in dehradun or pantwari , so i had to buy a jacket (~2K) ,my shoes were already good enough for this trip ,so i ignored that. The Transport to pantwari village is going through hills , and for the first time i had motion sickess( i had to vomit ,though this has never happened to me before) After reaching pantwari village , we met our guide. who gave us lunch, we packet few things(water bottle , lunch provided , additional socks). and started the trek. (it was moderately difficult) ,after reaching base camp (~3 to 4 hours Uphill) , we had some snacks and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Such a Clear sky( was able to see shooting stars, satellites moving around , sunset and a good bonfire at the end). We slept in the sleeping bags provided within the tent. It was very chill at night and i felt a little pain in my bones (of leg) - my top layers were sufficient enough to cover the upper body and keep it warm). Day 3: Next day ,we started to nag tibba temple and luckily we found snowfall (for 10 mins ) in a place along with bright sunshine. Loved it. then we made it to nag tibba temple (~4kms), but not to summit (another 1.5 kms Uphill) - but since the steep was high and we didnot have proper snow shoes we had to return from temple. Ankle deep snow was found when we were walking. On reaching the base camp , we removed some layers. and had lunch and started to desend ,which was quite easy , then we got into the tourister to desend to dehradun around 5PM , reached dehradun by 8.30 PM and our bus was at 10.30PM to delhi, we had our dinner at dehradun(some hotel available) and made it to delhi next day morning at 5AM. Best : Food was Great . Precaution : Empty your stomach before the trek ,and do not over eat, if you wouldnt be comfortable to use the toilet in the tent (it wont be good - but you cant expect for more)

The trek had been an amazing experience for us being the beginners.. We had 2 guides and they had been a great support to us. They really helped us through all thicks and thins in every possible way.. We were all girls in our group and we didn't face any issue of safety. Though there was little inconvenience regarding washrooms and drinking water but still the trek was organised and managed well.. Special thanks to our guides and thrillophilia
