About the activity
- This walking tour takes you through the colorful markets, across the narrow lanes, and ultimately to the local street food stalls. This itinerary is aimed to give you a close-up look at the local culture, be it walking down the cobbled streets or tasting some of the best regional culinary delights.
- Start from the Hawa Mahal in the evening at 4, for a two-and-a-half-hour walk exploring the geometrically precise structures of the city, get to know more about its ‘Chaupars’, walk up to the old stables now converted into a market, visit the bangle market and witness the making of the traditional lac (latter from trees) bangles.
- Learn to step deftly around the hundreds of people in small streets of wedding markets full of bridal clothing shops, catch more about the local artisans and age-old houses(Havelis) witness the gathering of local sellers selling the milk products and lastly, experience the delicious street food that will leave you charmed.

The walking tour will start from Hawa Mahal, which is well-connected to all areas of the city by buses, taxis, and rickshaws. Please note that the buses may be crowded sometimes.
