About the activity
- For around 500 years, the art of hand block printing has been practiced in Bagru by the Chhipa community. As you step in its rustic charm, you immediately encounter with a riot of colors, and a fragrance of dyes drying on fabric, no matter where you turn the pleasant smell will be a constant companion.
-Catching the culture that sways around in the air of Bagru, the activity takes place in one of the famous block-printing factories in Jaipur, revealing the step by step process of block printing. Starting from a talk with the supervisor of the factory and its workers, you move forward to learn about the techniques of block printing and even get hands-on experience in printing your scarves.
-To end, you can sip on the masala chai or coffee, munch some snacks and call it a day well-spent beyond the usual and the unique. Thus when you return, you can take back a lot of good memories and the scarves you printed.

Bagru lies on the Jaipur- Ajmer road, 32 km from the pink city. The town is well-connected to the city by State-run buses, private buses, and taxis. Please note that the buses may be crowded sometimes.
