Single Tree Hill also called ‘One Tree Hill’ is the 9th tallest mountain of the tropical paradise island of Sri Lanka. The peak has a height of 6890 feet (2100m) above sea level and situated next to the mountain city of Nuwara Eliya.
About the activity:
Hike up Single Tree Hill, which gives an extraordinary view of the Nuwara Eliya city. You will be picked from the hotel with the guide in Nuwara Eliya. Walk up through the lush tea plantations and reach the top and enjoy an hour to admire the spectacular views and famous lone tree. Gaze down over Nuwara and Lake Gregory. Absorb the panoramic views of the Haggala Mountains and peaks of Sri Pada and Piduruthalagala. After that hike down to Lake Gregory for lunch of pasta, a boiled egg, sausages, and fruit. The tour ends with a drop off at your hotel by TukTuk.

The Single tree hill is at a height of 2100 m above seal level but the peak is only at a height of 250 m above the beautiful Nuwara Eliya city. The trek is an easy one and the path winds through scenic tea estates and a beautiful Buddhist Temple.
