Auli, at an altitude of around 2800 meter above mean sea level, is one of India's top skiing destinations. This hill station falls under the Chamoli district and is a part of the Garhwal region. A white winter wonderland, Auli is famous for its ski resorts, ski slopes and ski events that are organised every winter. In fact, it also happened to be the venue of the First South Asian Winter Games in 2011.

This region is covered with oak and deodar forests, thus making it full of lush greenery. It is also home to one of the highest artificial lakes which is known as the Auli lake. Auli is around 14 km away from Joshimath. The driver will be there to pick you up from Joshimath bus stand at 9:30 AM

Narsingh Temple
Narsingh Temple is a popular temple in Joshimath. Famous as a part of Sapta Badri, Narsingh Temple is also called as Narsingh Badri Temple and a sacred place to visit in Joshimath. The deity of the temple is the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu (Narsimha Avatar), in the form of half Lion and half man.
Amar Kalpavriksha 
Kalpavriksha is a holy tree located in Joshimath, Uttarakhand. Believed to be around 1200 years old, this mulberry tree is a site of pilgrimage owing to the rich history associated with it. According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Shankaracharya worshiped Lord Shiva under this tree.
Bhavishya Badri Temple
Bhavishya Badri is one of Panch Badri temples, located at a height of 2744 meter above MSL. This small temple deity is Lord Vishnu and known to be the future seat of Badrinath. There is a beautiful water spring in Bhavishya Badri and the place has many Cedar trees.
Nanda Devi National Park
The Nanda Devi National Park was established in 1982. It is around the peak of Nanda Devi. Common larger mammals are Himalayan musk deer, mainland serow and Himalayan tahr. Carnivores are represented by snow leopard, Himalayan black bear and perhaps also brown bear.
Tapovan Hot Water Spring
This place has perennial hot water springs sprouting from underneath the rocks, and the water is unbearably hot. This water is capable of boiling rice or eggs in 2-3 minutes. Touching it can cause serious injuries. The clay deposits near the rocks have medicinal benefits for the human skin.
