Day 2
City Tour with Acropolis Museum | Wander at the UNESCO Heritage

  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy your scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, and it's time to start exploring Athens.
  • The sightseeing tour will start at 08:00 A.M. and the duration is of 5 hours, the tour will begin from Acropolis to Omonia Square with a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium which means "beautifully marbled" and is the world's only stadium made entirely of marble.
  • You will then pass the Athens Trilogy, including the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library.
  • Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution, Square, and Russian Orthodox Church.
  • Continue passing by the temple of Olympian Zeus (visit renovated Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erchteion).
  • Finally, reach the Acropolis Museum Tour where you will explore universal symbols of the classical spirit and civilization and form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world.

Athens to Argolis

  • Depart from the tour terminal for a three-day trip via the coastal National highway for the strategically Corinth Canal
  • Continue to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient theatre, world-famous for its outstanding acoustics. Then
  • you enter the region of Argolis, the land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dating back to the second century B.C., Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold that dominated much of southern Greece. You will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th-century B.C. structure.
  • In the afternoon depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis.

Day 4
Explore Olympia

  • After having your breakfast served at the hotel, it's time to explore Olympia - the land of the Olympic Games.
  • Then meet your guide for a tour to the Olympia archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium, and the archaeological Museum. Depart via Patras to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the famous new bridge to Antirion.
  • Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and from there on, along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.

Day 5
Explore Delphi
Delphi
  • Today after breakfast will for Delphi to explore one of the most famous archaeological sites of Greece.
  • Along the way, you will see the plain of Beotia, continue your Delphi day tour towards Mt. Parnassos, making a short rest stop outside the town of Levadia.
  • Pass by Castalia Spring, visit the archaeological site, and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea, and the Temple of Apollo famous for their oracle and Delphi museum, with their spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos.
  • After lunch return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs, and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese.
  • Overnight stay at Athens.
