Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Los Angeles

    Arrive at the Los Angeles airport

    Expect pickup from the airport to the hotel

    Rest for the night to begin early the next day

  • Day 2 - Los Angeles - El Centro (370 kilometers / 230 miles)

    Pick up motorbikes from the rental

    Leave Los Angeles southbound via the interstate

    Ride through Sweeney Pass Road and stay the night in El Centro

    Check in at the hotel for the night

  • Day 3 - El Centro - Gila Bend (322 kilometers / 200 miles)

    Ride east towards Arizona with a stop at the Imperial Dam

    Last stretch of today would be via Interstate 8 arriving at Gila Bend (known for its roadside culture and named after the Gila River)

    Stay overnight at the hotel

  • Day 4 - Gila Bend - Tucson (306 kilometers / 190 miles)

    Today you ride through the famed Sonora Desert and Saguaro National Park West and be enticed with views of funny cacti and vast grasslands.

    Later you take the scenic route to Tucson via the US-89, “The West’s Most Western Highway.”

    Check in at Tucson for the night.

  • Day 5 - Free day in Tucson

    Explore Tucson today

    Visit the Old Tucson Studios and the Pima Air and Space Museum, with its enormous aeroplane graveyard, called “The Boneyard.

    You could also take a trip to Mount Lemmon if you feel like going on an excursion.

  • Day 6 - Tucson - Silver City (426 kilometers / 265 miles)

    An early start to the day

    Long route to Silver City past Tombstone (Cowboy town)

    Ride through the town of Bisbee and get a taste of the mining industry.

    Today will reach the southernmost point of your trip.

    Spend the night in the state of New Mexico.

  • Day 7 - Silver City - El Paso (314 kilometers / 195 miles)

    Via the bendy US-152, you head towards Hillsboro

    Through Franklin Mountains State Park you enter Texas and continue on to El Paso.

  • Day 8 - El Paso - Carlsbad (330 kilometers / 205 miles)

    Ride through the open terrain to Guadalupe.
