Uttar Pradesh – the most populated state in India has some of the best experiences to offer to its visitors. The state was officially established back in 1937 when the British rule singled out the 243,290 square kilometres chunk of land as a United Province. With Lucknow being the capital of the state, the state encompasses various other small, vibrant and full of tradition cities such as Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Sonbhadra, Raebareli and Moradabad among others.

Uttar Pradesh is not only known to hold great industrial importance in the state but also has managed to represent itself as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the country. The state which is surrounded by Rajasthan in the west, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi in the north-west and Uttarakhand and Nepal in the North covers a land of approximately 243,290 square kilometres.

The state is the third largest Indian state by economy and contributes a total GDP rate of approximately 9,763 billion dollars annually. Its agricultural and industrial sectors make up for a large portion for the state’s popularity while the service sector which comprises of travel, tourism, hotel industry, real estate, insurance and financial consultancies do not rank any low either.

The 2 major rivers that flow through the state namely, Ganges and Yamuna help comprise the natural beauty that exists within the location. The place is home to numerous historical and religious tourist destinations as well.
