Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

You would be responsible for:

  • Developing the region by implementing product innovations, increasing revenue prospects, owning the P&L of the region, partnering with clients, and building new business lines/categories.

  • Leading and developing product roadmaps for all products in and around Maharashtra.

  • Coordinate the execution and delivery of product improvements.

  • Negotiating strategic partnerships with various travel partners and activity providers.

  • Defining Objective Key Roadmaps, actively measuring and analyzing existing products and market trends for the encashment of opportunities to innovate and improve.

  • Effectively communicating with customers and travel partners, and maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with all relevant partners.

  • Leading the team based out of Bangalore region and providing hands-on mentorship and on-the-job training to a team of Business Development Associates.

  • Scouting for new possible business avenues, liaisoning with partners and striking lucrative deals without compromising on the product quality to expand our base in the region.  

  • Conducting, overlooking and evaluating regular Quality Audits to implement process improvement and training plans for operators and ensuring best customer experiences.

  • Conducting periodic reviews to identify any possible bottlenecks in the existing processes, in order to systematize existing and create new efficient processes.

  • Is a team player and can interact with people of diversified backgrounds internally.

  • Open to extensive travelling in and around Bangalore.

Prerequisites:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development roles.

  • Travel acumen will be a HUGE plus.

  • Working knowledge of the local language(Marathi) is a must.

  • Team leading experience is preferred.

  • Background in Startup or Startup Ecosystem & existing relationship in the city is preferred.
