The name Bukchon Hanok literally translates to "northern village houses”. The village is an actual neighbourhood with people’s homes but now many of the Hanoks have been converted into restaurants, tea houses, guest houses etc so that the visitors can experience the actual traditional Korean lifestyle as it is surrounded by the Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine.

The walking tour across the whole place takes about 3 hr - 3 hr 30 min and is a round trip that begins from the Anguk station. The reservations should be made at least three days prior to the trip as it is one of most famous places to visit in Seoul.

Very easy to plan and communicate with our travel specialist ( Thrillophilia ) this is our first abroad trip!!! the agent whom I spoke with was very polite, knowledgable, and friendly kept asking me questions after questions about what we actually wanted on the trip. Right from the airport we get picked-up on time and the company representative already waited for us at the arrival areas and we get transfers to the hotel and as well helps us with all the documentation process and checked-in. the pre-booked hotel was good at a good location with courteous staff and delicious morning breakfast. They even there to help us at any time through WhatsApp and call the operators were very supportive and were there to helps us at any time. We really enjoyed the trips to Jeju Island and its attractions were mind-blowing, in Aqua Planet which we witness much marine life and we even covered the beautiful gardens the Spirited Garden & Bonsai Garden and we explored the island like anything. During our leisure day, we had planned our own itineraries as we went sightseeing, spa, shopping for souvenirs, and definitely food tours. It was such an amazing trip thanks alot for everything.

Before I start my review I would like to start with this, the place was truly paradise on earth, I was totally in love with the overall places we covered on this trip... We get a great chance in life that we are getting this chance to travel to such a beautiful place like this... This trip is just for a span of 6-days and really I wanted to stay more longer but no hard feeling I will definitely revisit again in the future and also will highly suggest this trip to everyone... Secondly, the itinerary was fulfilling and satisfying one and we covered all the amazing places mentioned on it. The place is so romantic, the sceneries were mind-blowing, it was a nice part when we interact with the locals and get to know about their culture, We really enjoyed the nightlife of the place, an awesome traditional market which we purchased souvenirs, Enjoyable excursion all days, an amazing theme park with a fun ride and activities... Overall, Arrangments and services were excellent, the experience we had was unforgettable... Recommend

We had chosen the right destination for our family vacation, the place is a paradise... so beautiful every spot we arrived it catches the eyes of everyone... The visit to Oedo Botanical Islands really taken our breath away the flowerbeds were extremely 'wow'... On this tour we get to learn about their customs and tradition, We explore the markets and the nightlife of the place which was very exciting and interesting... It was a nice place with lots to see and learn... I will definitely visit this place again and next time I will book with a long-duration package... Talking about the service provided by Thrillophilia was really great, the arrangements of hotels, transport, and pick up and drop were superb... The experience was tip-top right from the start of the trip till finish. I highly recommend this to all travelers don't miss this place you'll love it for sure...

Lifetime experience!!! It is a great trip, the place is really beautiful which truly worth-seeing, the entire trip was very well-organized and the itinerary they shared with us was very satisfying and the best part was that we get everything per stated in the itinerary. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgable about the place. The hotel, transport, and activities were well-arranged. Amazing time we had there for 9 days which we learn and experience the place like anything.

The day trips and sightseeing were truly amazing, We even planned self-itineraries which we enjoyed the sightseeing, shopping, food tour, nightlife, and get interact with the local people know about their culture and history what such a great privilege...
