The Taoist temples here buzz with the prayers of the hopeful, the pilfered treasures housed in the National Palace Museum has been in existence for past 5000 years and the wooden boards of Japanese-era mansions squeak under the visitors’ feet. Together all this makes Taipei City one of most preferred holiday destinations of Taiwan.
