Baralacha La, better known as Baralacha pass is situated in the Zanskar range. It is a high mountain pass located along the Leh-Manali highway that connects Leh district in Ladakh and Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh. At a height of 3200 meters, Jipsa is located and it is the major village in Lahaul district. The nearest airport to Jispa is Kullu that is situated at a distance of 180 kms.Best time to visit: The peak tourist season is starting in May and continues till October.
