The Krabi Emerald Pool, also known as Sa Morakot, is a natural crystal lagoon, located inside the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve near Bang Teao Village in the Khao Pra-Bang Khram area of Ao Nang in Krabi province. The natural pool is emerald in color owing to high limestone and mineral content, which is full of freshwater that has been supplied by natural streams cascading down the surrounding hills. A leisure walk through the natural jungle trail of the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve through waterfalls, streams and other pools will take you to the crystal clear lagoon with its turquoise water shining under the canopy of the lush green forest surrounding it.
