Highly satisfied with my maiden camping experience at HIM CAFE.. Realy awe-inspiring views around the camp. Decent food to get in a hilly terrain. Pawan-caretaker is too friendly and caring. Tents were clean and safe.. Day 1: Reached the camp by 2.00 pm checked in the tent. Started trek to Tosh village after a Powernap at the tent. Tosh village is too beautiful that it couldnt be penned down. Wittnessed aome melting snow while sunset which is an imsane experience. You can enjoy at cafes at Tosh before your way bck to the camp. Had dinner. Enjoyed Bonfire. Day2: If you are trekker then use this day for an early morning trek to a stunning water falls which is little above the Tosh village. Come back for a sun kissed breakfast. I had Kheerganga in my list so i started to Barshaini which is the starting point of the Kheer ganga trek. So its ideal to stay at Tosh before/after a trek to kheerganga. Amenities at camp: Food Tents Cafe Kitchen Clean washrooms And what not amazing sceneries around. An amazing one day backpacking experience which could carry lot of insane memories. Happy Trekking..

Bhudeva Tagore Kuari Pass Trek
Excellent
I had a nice time during the Kuari Pass trekking. This trekking was a lot of fun and it was very interesting. Also, the camping done was very relaxing and rejuvenating in between. It was planned trek and our trek leader was amazing. He made sure that we are enjoying the trek and shared lot of his trekking stories with us.
"I had an amazing experience during this one day trek. We were provided tents which were very comfortable. There is provisio for common bathrooms ( nothing fancy, just the basic requirements). The view from the place is breathtaking. Campfires are setup at the night where u can look at the clear skies with lots of stars.\nThe owner Rishabh is very friendly , jolly and helpful. The caretaker , Pavan was really sweet helpful and took us for the trek and showed the places around. The food options are obviously limited due to the terrain but still delicious. \nThere are no restrictions and I totally recommend this place for a delightful experience."

Kuari Pass is an easy trek, but challenging nonetheless. The first 2 days of the trek were like a walk in the park. The challenge mounted on the 3rd day, the day of Kuari Pass, when one needs to trek in knee-deep snow. Our Crew was amazing and very hospitable. Our guide made the whole trip very adventurous. He taught us snow sliding, finding routes, spotting peaks, and identifying clean streams of water. I was never bored with his narration of folklore. A warm and adventurous personality! We had the best cooks! The food they served us in the mountains was better than the food in the best restaurant in Joshimath. And they were very conscientious of the food they made. Changing the menu as per the requirements of the day, so that we are fresh and active all the time! Thank you Manish and Sohan :) I cannot recommend this trek enough. Astounding and humbling views, fresh air, face off with the elements of nature and a life altering experience!

I thought I was going for a trek, but instead I went on a self actualisation trip. It had everything- fun, workout, snow, car journey, bonfire, and anything else you can imagine. Before the trip I was quite skeptical, whether or not I would be able to do it, whether or not the weather and conditions would be favourable, but it all worked out. Our trek guides, Bishu and Sasang, were both so amazing, so motivating, and so supportive, that they made our trip a success. At one point, I wasn’t sure if I could continue on this trek, since my legs were giving up, but our guide motivated us, told us we’re almost there, and made us complete the journey. We took shortcuts, we clicked pictures, we went 2km along the mountains just to see the beautiful sunset hiding in the clouds beneath us, and we came back changed. I recommend this trip to anyone who is reading this. The trek is for beginners with will power, and the journey is going to memorable for years, if not more.

The best thing about the trip was our guide Vikram Da..and we generally call him Vikram. He made sure to make us comfortable and ensured our needs to be taken care of. The only thing i would ask Thrilillophilia to do is club people of similar ages and not club a 55-60 yr old person with a group of youngsters. There are differences in mental and physical attributes.

Our trek was a remarkable experience. It was well organised and the accommodation along the way allowed for a very comfortable stay. The only problem which we faced was with the accommodation provided in Kalpokhari which was below average. The food was also quite good. I would personally like to thank the guide Mr Bisu Rai for helping us throughout the journey.

The trek has a famous point from where you can see the clouds in a sleeping buddha position and it was the best view. There were also local tales about Kalanag, a black water lake, and listening to different stories about it from the locals were fun and exciting. Watching mountain ranges and beautiful views make the visit worthwhile.
