Visit the Kaudulla National park: Kaudulla national park was first established back in 2002 – making Harbarana 15th such area in the country designed especially for the proper preservation of elephants. The sanctuary is quite important for endemic and migratory birds as well as the place houses some of the most beautiful species that fall in the category. The Kaudulla National park holds great historic relevance as well as King Mahasen first built 16 irrigation tanks back in 1959 to support the diverse range of plants and animals.
