About the Activity: Thrill your senses with a trek to Ratangad and let the fresh greens and blooms enchant your mind and heart. A hill fort located in Ratan Wadi, this is one of oldest in the regiona s it is more than 2000 years old. This fortress is famous for Nedhe or Eye of the Needle Point, during this season, the needle eye point is covered in colourful blooms of all types. This fort was captured by the great Maratha emperor Shivaji Maharaj and was one of his favorite hill fortresses, one can understand why as it offers the amazing view of the artificial catchment area below and vast canopy of blue sky under! The trek begins as you meet at  Pritam Hotel Dadar East at 11:30 pm and proceed with the journey. Get to the village by 05:00 AM, which is the base point of this trek. Progressing onwards to Trimbak Darwaza, Nedhe (Needle Point), you will reach the summit by 10:30 AM. Descend down to Ratanwadi after some exploration. On the way visit Amruteshwar Temple and proceed back to Mumbai by 5 PM.

The staff was good, the food was also nice and had enough variety. The camps are near and well maintained. We played many games there and the bonfire was so great and cozy.. we loved the whole trip, we haven’t slept for the whole night because the surrounding was very relaxing and we wanted to enjoy every moment there. A big recommendation from my side.

Very beautiful place near the lake, the view we get at night and in the early morning is lovely and unforgettable. The location was perfect and the staff was well behaved. We enjoyed our time here. Recommend this place from my side.

It was the best experience far better then hotel or resort stays. The bonfire with all the group with those yummy snacks was a very precious moment. We had our best day of this whole year on this campsite. The lake was very peaceful and relaxing. Awesome trip. will surely come again with a bigger group.

This was my first experience of camping and went amazingly great. We booked for 5 adults from Thrillophilia and the entire trip went well, the camps were clean and hygienic. the food was good. Good to go.
