About Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks are two hills which are located in the geographic centre of San Francisco at an elevation of 925 feet above the city. Known for offering spectacular views of the Bay Area and San Francisco City, the 64-acre area park will give you a glimpse of how San Francisco looked before development. The destination was originally named Los Pechos de la Choca” and is currently called Noe Peak and Eureka Peak.


While visiting the place, you can reach the summits in your car and enjoy the view through telescopes. Alternatively, you can go on a 0.7-mile hike and reach the best viewing spot from where you will be able to enjoy an enthralling view of the surrounding areas. You will also be able to enjoy a view of the popular landmarks of the city such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and others.

Enjoy a Hike

To enjoy the best experience of Twin Peaks, embark on an enjoyable hike of 0.7 miles from the base of the peak. During the journey, you will be able to witness the spectacular 360-degree views of the city and its surroundings. You may also opt to take additional trails which follow the southern and eastern slopes of the park. To extend your hike further, continue down Twin Peaks Boulevard towards Portola Drive which will take you to Glen Canyon Park.
