The Royal Mile

The Royal Mile is a set of underground streets and spaces entangled with stories that have haunted the locals since the seventeenth century. It is one of the best Edinburgh attractions that give a fascinating depiction of Edinburgh's life between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries.

It connects two royal residences and is home to parliaments, new and old, law courts, churches, and a cathedral.
