Sigöldugljúfur

You can either drive to this place and go for a hike, or can even explore the landscapes using an aircraft. Either way, you are assured of an adventure when you are in Sigoldugljufur. However, do note that amenities are minimal here, so you will have to carry a lot on your own.

• Go for a hike at Sigoldugljufur and explore all that this place has to offer on a ground level. 
• Take a jeep tour and experience what it is like to go offroading at Sigoldugljufur by discovering mountain peaks and waterfalls. 
• Head to the outskirts of Sigoldugljufur to look at the Northern Lights at night either by yourself or by taking a guided tour. 
• Go to the Fjallabak Natural Reserve and spend an overnight time camping near the natural springs.
