How To Reach

Entopia Penang is located at a distance of 18 kilometres from Georgetown and is 32.5 kilometres away from the Penang International Airport.

By Car/Taxi: To reach Entopia Penang via Georgetown, take the coastal route from Tanjong Tokong and travel through Tanjung Bungah and Batu Ferringhi. Reach Teluk Bahang and take the head out from the first exit on the pitcher-plant roundabout. Drive on for 1.5 kilometres to reach Entopia.

By Bus: Take the Rapid Penang Bus route 101 (Weld Quay to Teluk Bahang), 102 (Penang Airport to Teluk Bahang), or 501 (Balik Pulau to Teluk Bahang).

1. Nature Talk: The Nature Activity Team of Entopia Penang is eager to share their love and passion for nature with you. Join Nature Talk, a fun and exciting guided tour where you get to explore the most fascinating details about Mother Nature. The tours are thirty minutes long and conducted at different times of the day throughout the week.

2. Vita Nova: A one-of-its-kind experience awaits you at Entopia Penang’s Vita Nova, which shows you the beauty of ‘New Life’. Witness the first flight of newly-emerged butterflies as they are released into the mesmerising aviary of the farm. The enchanting nature learning activity is conducted on all days of the week for two half-an-hour sessions from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM – 4 PM.

3. Bug Exploration: Entopia Penang’s bug residents are waiting for you at the Bug Exploration. Spot the tiny creatures as they go about their lives in the safe haven of Entopia. The nature learning activity also gives you an exciting chance to learn about the intriguing anatomy, diet, lifestyle, and anything you can think of about the bugs. You can attend the tour on all days of the week for two half-an-hour sessions and a special weekend session on Saturdays and Sundays.

1. The Habitat Penang Hill: Walk into the heart of the Malaysian rainforest and soak in the sounds, smells, and colours at Habitat Penang Hill. Explore the ancient forest and witness the majestic hills and the Andaman Sea as you head on a 1.6-kilometre-long nature trail. The Habitat has in store several adventurous options, like the 15-metre-high Langur Way Canopy Walk, the ziplines, and the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk.

2. Clan Jetties, George Town: Penang’s Clan Jetties are among the state’s most important historical areas, especially those in the capital city, George Town. Created by nineteenth-century Chinese immigrants, clan jetties were unique water settlements where structures and houses were built over water and became villages. Over the years, the clans of these villages expanded and claimed regions of the dock and settled there. The Natureland

Designed like a butterfly wing, Natureland is Entopia Penang’s outdoor garden. The garden has been divided into several zones, like Mystery Cave, Tiger Falls, Home Tree, Dragon Path, and Aroma Trail. Witness frogs, insects, spiders, and scorpions at Mystery Cave, while the butterflies make a splashing entrance at Tiger Falls. The Home Tree is one of Entopia’s main landmarks and is filled with butterflies feeding on fruits. Reserved for reptiles is the Dragon Land, where butterflies are not allowed entry for their safety. The final area is the Aroma Trail, which lives up to its name with its beautiful blooming flowers and dancing butterflies.

The Cocoon

At the end of Natureland’s Aroma Trail is Entopia’s indoor area, known as The Cocoon. Named after the butterfly pupa, butterflies are not allowed in this area as they cannot find their way out. The zones in the two-floor space include the Pandora Forest, Metamorphosis, Breeding Ground, Lumino City, Downtown Entopia, Underground Mysteries, and Understory Tales. Learn butterfly myths and folk tales from across the world at Pandora Forest, and witness the process of caterpillars turning into butterflies at Metamorphosis. Breeding Ground teaches about the first stages of a butterfly’s life, while Lumino City is all about fireflies. Is outside food allowed in Entopia Penang?

Outside food and drinks, as well as any sort of picnic activities, are not permitted on Entopia Penang premises. Exceptions are made for infants and visitors with special needs.
