Dzongri Plateau is a beautiful high mountain meadow at 4,200 meters in western Sikkim, famous for giving trekkers some of the best mountain views in India without needing a very difficult trek. This wide area sits inside Kanchenjunga National Park and serves as a perfect base camp for mountain lovers. The plateau offers amazing close-up views of snow-covered peaks like Kanchenjunga, Mount Pandim, and many others that stand out clearly against the blue sky on clear days.

What makes Dzongri special is the trek to get there – you walk through thick forests full of colorful rhododendron flowers, cross clear mountain streams, and see different types of plants and animals along the way. The camping area has a solid trekkers' hut that can sleep 30 people, plus lots of flat ground for tents. A gentle stream flows right next to the camping area, giving fresh water. From the main plateau, it's just a short 1 km walk to Dzongri Top, where you can watch the sunrise turn the mountains bright gold. This trek is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to see big Himalayan peaks without spending weeks on the trail.

11 days spent in the Goeacha La trek was the best phase of my life. Was planning for a Himalayan experience since long, but was not able to and finally got the opportunity last year December. From the very first day to the last day, the experience and feel was just awesome for me. Group members and the trek crew members were really friendly and helped me in several places. The heights gained, terrains hiked, forests walked through and the views enjoyed were truly magical and memorable. Thanks a lot guys.

Seriously, if you want to explore the hills and mountains of the North-East, this trek is the best of all. Heard a lot about the beauty of this region but was never been there before this trek. And trust me, the high passes, awesome views of the Himalayan range and the challenges during the trek are the best part of the trek.

This trek was purely fun for the eleven days. Not even for a single moment, we felt dull! Amazing terrains, beautiful destinations and the unbelievable views of the Himalayas...simply above everything.

This was an expedition we went for when me and a few of my friends were visiting Sikkim. This trek not only taught us about ourselves but also brought all of us a lot closer together. I highly recommend to go for this trek if you are on a holiday with friends. But one needs to consult a physician before going on this trek since it can get challenging after a point of time.

Amazing experience. The entire region is so calm and composed that you don't even feel like listening to music while trekking. I loved waking up early as the mornings were the best part of the trek. I must say it was tricky but if you get such enormous amount of beauty than any effort is worth taking for.
