The best time to visit the Bali Zoo would be during the early hours, ideally between 09.00 AM- 12.00 PM as these early hours remain less crowded at the zoo. Those aiming for the Night Safari, however, should ideally visit after 05.00PM to avoid the midday heat.

• Gayo Restaurant: Located just beside the Elephant trail, Gayo Restaurant promises fantastic, unobstructed views of these majestic creatures. The decor of the restaurant is inspired by the architecture of Angkor Wat, and strikes a brilliant contrast against its natural setting. The menu here features a range of Asian and Western Delicacies. 
• Snack Snack: Snack Snack is the in-house snack bar and cafe at the Bali Zoo. Like its counterparts, Snack Snack also features outdoor seating, although seats here are comparatively limited. The snack bar specializes in a variety of small bites and ice creams.

Bali being an island town, can only be reached by air. The Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali is well connected to both domestic as well as international destinations via air routes.

Once at the airport, the best way to reach the Zoo would be to take the Line 5 Bus and disembark at the Bali Zoo Stop. Alternatively, one can rent a car or take a taxi as well.
